Mitake Sta.
This station features temple-style architecture. It was renovated in 2019 using plenty of materials from Tama. It serves as the gateway to Musashi Mitake Shrine, a base for mountain and river activities, and a starting point for adventures. It’s only one minute from the station to the Mitake Valley Promenade. Be sure to check out the tourist information in the waiting room.

Musashi Mitake Shrine
A shrine in the sky. You can see the night kagura dance that takes place on the fourth Sunday of every summer and autumn, as well as the ritual that takes place every morning.

A swing with a spectacular view of the entire Kanto region at your feet. Located right next to Mt. Mitake Station, the final stop on the Mitake Tozan Cable Car.
Yamanoue lemonade
The gentle lemonade is made with pure water from Mt. Mitake. Melon bread fried in coconut oil is also popular.
