Hinatawada Sta.
This is the most famous plum blossom spot along the line. In 2014, over 1,000 plum trees were cut down due to a virus infection, but replanting has brought back a magnificent plum grove. The “ume knot” motif, which symbolizes good fortune and is scattered throughout the station, is imbued with the hope of reviving Yoshino’s plum blossom region. The station building was renovated in 2020.
