Ishigamimae Sta.
There used to be an amusement park called “Rakurakuen” here, and the station name has changed from “Rakurakuen Station” to “Mitamura Station” to “Ishigamimae Station.” Nearby is Ishijinja Shrine, which is said to have been the guardian deity of Futamatao Village, Tama County, Musashi Province since the Edo period, and this is the origin of the current station name. The giant ginkgo tree within the precincts is the object of breast worship and has been designated a natural monument by Ōme City.
