“Sawai” is a place name given to the abundant, famous water that flows as a stream. At “Ozawa Sake Brewery” near the station, you can taste fine sake brewed with this famous water. Depending on the brewing season and wind direction, you may be able to smell the aroma of sake when you step off the platform. We also recommend taking a leisurely stroll along the “Mitake Valley Promenade” that leads towards Mitake.
